Perhaps Baby Boomers had their sports heroes but today being a hero is just not enough for Generation Z…especially in the gaming world. Gamers much rather have the ‘influencer’ title in order to cash in with potential sponsors. All a gamer influencer needs to do is create popular content on any social media platform and begin to amass a following. Like flowers to a bee, many will come flocking to the influencer’s posts, begin to share their favorites with others, and build a following via clicks and likes.
